Service Center hours & contact

The Contra Costa Service Center is at 185 Mayhew Way, Walnut Creek. The meeting room is next door at 193 Mayhew Way.

Hours: Monday–Friday 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM, Saturday 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM. Closed Sunday and federal holidays.

Intergroup — Tuesday, August 25

New Intergroup representative / alternate orientation is at 7:00 PM at 185 Mayhew Way. The Intergroup business meeting follows at 7:30 PM in the Mayhew meeting room (193 Mayhew Way).

Intergroup meets the fourth Tuesday of each month except December.

Welcome, newest IG reps & alts

Keep It Simple Group, Tuesday Nooners, Get Real Group, and Forgiven & Free sent new representatives. New reps are invited to the 7:00 PM orientation before Intergroup.

June office contacts

The Service Center recorded 289 contacts in June (220 visitors, 69 calls): 288 for A.A. information or other, 1 for A.A. help / 12-step referrals.

Treasurer’s snapshot (as of May 31, 2026)

Revenue $22,439 · Expenses $20,250 · Change in net assets $2,225 · Cash balance $61,046. The full statements are in the print Communiqué.

Coverage is especially needed Monday–Friday, 6–9 AM and 5–10 PM. Ask your Intergroup rep for a volunteer form, or download the Service Center volunteer flyer above.

For $20 a year you help fund the hotline, meeting schedules, speaker meetings, the anniversary party, the picnic, the audio library, and public information. Members receive the Communiqué by mail.
